We join to worship God every Sunday at 9:30 AM.
Our "come-as-you-are, user-friendly" approach to worship ensures that
people who are new to the church environment will feel comfortable. Our
style of worship is blended with both traditional and contemporary
music. On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, we welcome everyone to
receive holy communion. New in Fall 2005, Northlake Lutheran
Church will be offering monthly jazz services and a traditional worship
service.
Drama ministries-
Are you an aspiring actor or actress? We have several talented
people in the congregation who have taken part in past dramatic
productions and we're always looking for more people to join the fun!
It's a great way to portray God's word in a different and exciting way! Contact the church for more information or to join us in
our next production!

Would you like to sing in the Northlake Lutheran Church Choir? Rehearsals
are on Wednesday's at 7:00 PM (7:30 during the Lenten season). The
choir sings at most Sunday services as well as for holiday services.
New members are always welcome!
Instrumentalists - Do you play an instrument? We encourage
you to be a part of our music ministry.
Assisting Ministers - Church members take an active part in leading
worship on Sunday mornings. Training is provided so that all assisting
ministers are well-prepared and confident in their role.
Nursery - Do you have a child (or children) age 4 and under who has
a hard time sitting through an entire worship service? Our new
nursery is just the place for those "fidgety" times!
Altar Guild - Yes, the Altar Guild takes care of the altar…but they aren’t
limited to just that. Altar Guild members decorate the entire worship
space for the various church seasons and holidays. Are you creative?
Here’s an outlet for your imagination! For info, contact Sue Kuester,
church secretary.
Baptisms - Jesus commands us to "Go and make disciples of all people in
the world, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the
Holy Spirit." We at Northlake Lutheran Church are happy to assist you in
carrying out this command of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please contact Pastor
Volk to arrange a baptism date and to set up pre-baptismal sessions (for
new parents, parents who are not members of Northlake Lutheran Church, and
adults who wish to baptized). There are no fees for the Sacrament of Holy
Baptism. Baptism is a gift of God. The Pastor is only too happy to
administer the Sacrament as a servant of God. God's grace is free. God's
gifts are free.
"Coffee And…" - Refreshments are served downstairs in the Pine Room after
worship each week. Enjoy something to drink, have a snack, and meet
someone new!
